Post-partum and infant support- day or night

There’s often a sensation of “now what?” that accompanies the come-down of birth recovery and postpartum, especially after traumatic births. Day and night bleed into one another, and we get lost in the repetition, tedium and exhaustion. Society tells us we should be able to do this alone, and too many of us simply push through this crucial time, suppressing our need for rest, denying our challenging emotions, and ignoring the desires of our soul.

I’m here to challenge that status quo. We can commit to well-being rather than suffering, we can ask for help, we don’t have to do it alone .

Each post-partum period is as unique as the new family experiencing it, and each carries it’s own special set of gifts and challenges. Whether this is your first baby or your tenth, you deserve to have access to that just-right support and care that you crave. You deserve high-quality rest, minimal stress, nourishing food, and loving words. You deserve space to grow into new motherhood, or new-again motherhood. You deserve to enjoy your new baby.

Here are some examples of how I can support you in your sacred fourth trimester:

  • Daytime in-home support: chores, cooking, meal prep, newborn care such as feeding (if bottle fed), breastfeeding support, diaper changes, holding/ rocking/ soothing, help with bathing, watching older kiddo’s while you enjoy one-on-one time with babe, errands, groceries, dog walking, etc.

  • Experienced and knowledgeable monitoring and discussion of bodily care such as tears, bleeding, sore muscles, umbilical cords, aches, and pains.

  • Virtual connection sessions to discuss challenges and victories, to trouble-shoot, listen and offer perspective.

  • Nighttime support: feeding (if bottle fed), diaper changes, soothing, rocking/ holding baby. Assistance for mum to use bathroom, get drinks/ snacks, breastfeeding support.

  • Birth integration session: whether your birth was ecstatic, traumatic, or anywhere in between, sharing your story within the safe container of sisterhood is an important way of integrating the lessons and releasing the drama of your experience. Book a birth integration session here.

  • Daytime Support: $160 for a 4-hour time slot

  • Nighttime Support: $250 per night / 8pm-5am

Before booking in-person postpartum service, we’ll have an in-person meeting to make sure that I’m a good fit for your family, and discuss expectations, requirements and scheduling.

Client Review:

“My family gives Lindsey 10-stars as we grew from a family of three to four. Honestly, I don’t know what we would have done without Lindsey’s support. She was not only our night time support, but a confident and huge resource for moms (and dads for that matter). The nights that Lindsey came to help my family were the best nights of the week. Mom and dad got a good night’s rest and didn’t worry about a thing. Our newborn was loved and well cared for. In fact, with Lindsey’s help, she was sleeping through the night by 14 weeks. Lindsey’s services, whether it be helping with birthing, coaching, or postpartum support, are all worth their weight in GOLD!
