Birth Revolution

An infinite universe in one single being

Exceeding the sum of our parts

A spark of divinity lights up our eyes

A piece of God lives in our hearts

Born of pure love, arriving in trust

The newborn radiates peace

In bliss, mother and baby reside

In triumph, their two spirits meet

But humanity’s essence is under attack

From forces who claim to be right

They are seeking to poison us at every turn

They think that we’re too weak to fight

Cutting us off from our pure, perfect nature

The disconnect begins at birth

With forceful intrusions and cold separation

Our emergence is robbed of it’s worth

Now, a birth revolution is quietly brewing

These women are courageous and fierce

We reclaim our wildness, our wisdom, our grace

Our movement grows stronger each year

With every sweet babe born in peace, born in freedom

Our fires just keep burning brighter

Our beacons reach further with each victory

We’re sovereign, we’re whole, and we’re fighters

So go right ahead and keep tossing your mud

We’ve come too far to give it all up

Your statues of lies can’t stand up to the truth

Your systems are weak and corrupt

Women, it’s time to join hands in defiance

To resist the cascade of despair

We are stronger than they’ve ever let us believe

Our womb magic will guide us there

So stand up beside me, and look in my eyes

In our souls, in our hearts, we are one

Our children deserve the very best of this world
